Memory of the landscape

Six scrolls of paper, exhibited in pairs in the courtyard of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Piacenza. They appear like floating, glowing veils, placed at a height that overlooks the space below. They suggest lightness and transparency, while at the same time conveying overlapping layers and thickness. A perceptual contrast that invites careful observation and a plunge into the imagination.

Through a sensory journey, the profiles drawn by Agrawal — light yet defined, their transverse movement enhancing the dynamism of the line — allude to the human capacity to preserve and internalize lived experiences. Memory as a mental activity that retains and recalls past experiences; a collective process in which the community recognizes itself, overcoming the fragmentation of individual remembrance.
