Works
Vanshika Agrawal's paintings are explorations of the substance of which the atmosphere is made, a search for the matter of which skies are made, their internal formation, their continuous movement and the changes in light they produce. The airy strokes and physical gestures give these works a certain weight to the point of making them two-dimensional. Observing them closely, one perceives the artist's work that focuses on minimising details to the point of blurring the image.
- Maria Teresa Capacchione
"Nuances of belonging and longing, are kind of those far blurry details which are subtle to catch and that’s why becoming dreamy. Every time with a new nuance I ask myself what’s different about it but then each realized stroke is an effort to capture their movement in their constant progression. So precisely it’s this subtlety that they emphasize with each realization."
